My name is Andy Bruchey and I’ve been an Austin personal trainer for over 20 years.

I specialize in weight loss/gain, including the addition of quality, lean muscle mass, corrective flexibility, post injury rehabilitation, nutrition and sport specific training.

I have, and continue to work with many doctors, filmmakers, actors and actresses, models, professional athletes, including PGA golfers, NBA players, NFL players, as well as high school, and collegiate baseball, football, and basketball players. Professional, as well as amateur bodybuilders, martial artists, rowers, figure skaters, soccer players, baseball players, ballerinas and, as well as weekend warriors, housewives, business professionals, beginners, and everyone in between.

I have extensive experience working with joint problems such as ACL, LCL, MCL, PCL, meniscus and patella tendon issues ranging from macro tears. to full tears in the knees, as well as loss of cartilage issues resulting in bone on bone. I additionally have extensive experience working with all types of rotator cuff problems, complete shoulder replacement patients, clients with prosthetics, complete joint replacements, Crohns disease, Rheumatoid Arthritis, heart disease, cardiac rehabilitation, high blood pressure, type 1 and 2 diabetes, hypoglycemia, Multiple Sclerosis, eating disorders, emotional eating, depression, thyroid disorders, clinical obesity, ankylosing spondylitis, sciatica, lumbar spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, osteoporosis, scoliosis, low back pain, digestive disorders such as acid reflux, candida, gastritis, hiatal hernias, and IBS. Additionally, I have a great amount of experience working with clients ranging from professional athletes, to everyday folks, rehabilitating everything from broken bones and the imbalances thus incurred, to the mildest of sprains and strains… And the list goes on and on.

With my physical therapy based personal training background, I quickly and accurately assess any and all tightness’, weaknesses, and imbalances, and resolve them through individualized corrective flexibility training, as well as by employing specific exercises and techniques within the workouts themselves.
